HoloMeeting Update V 1.6.3

This update represents a major step forward for HoloMeeting. Not only are HoloLens, Windows Mixed Reality and desktop versions of the application available directly via the Microsoft Store but we have added a remote inking feature which dramatically improves the live feed experience.

We are continually committed to improving all aspects of the HoloMeeting application, across all platforms in order to provide the smoothest and most complete experience possible for our clients.

  • Remote Inking - you can now place symbols via the live feed
  • New startup animation

 

Improved

  • Name colour is now the same as the avatar colour
  • Shorted distance of culling plane
  • Add line thickness icons

 

Fixed

  • Fixed possible jagged lines when drawing depending on angle to draw surface
  • Fixed a reconnect triggered when the pen was used continuously for a longer duration
  • Fixed an issue where the live feed was visible outside the workspace
  • Added screenshot button back in for live feed with new upload mechanic
  • Fixed a bug that occurred after resizing a PDF

 

Known Bugs

  • DAE files without textures are currently not working

Fortnighty Development Cycle and Updates

As mentioned, we are operating HoloMeeting on a fortnightly development sprint cycle. This is part of our agile implementation to fit in with our Early Access Program, of which we are currently on-boarding our initial clients.
