HoloMeeting Update V 2.4.4.0

This update introduces the beta version of our Microsoft Teams integration as well as a new feature to generate 3D avatars from selfies. Please reach out to us at support@holomeeting.io for more information.

  • Create 3D avatars from 2D selfies
  • Ability to see the 4 web whiteboard colours
  • Microsoft Teams Bot is now in Beta Preview - you can install the Teams Integration via the Apps page in the backend (you will need to be an AAD admin of your tenant to authorise the application)
  • Added Virtual Camera Feed to the Teams Bot so Teams users can see what’s going on inside the HoloMeeting room

Improved

  • Stroke thickness of lines drawn on HoloLens and web are now matching
  • Added fade-in and out effects when HoloLens users are joining or leaving a room
  • We’ve increased the image pixel limit to 7,500px

Fixed

  • Fixed an issue where not all user images were scaled down which may have caused performance issues on HL
  • Fixed an issue with custom avatars not loading correctly
  • Fixed an issue with seeing your own avatar in rare cases
  • Fixed an issue where a non-whitelisted user did not see the correct error message when trying to sign in with magic link
  • Fixed an issue that users were not able to mute/unmute a HM participant using near interaction
